Suggestion, as now the site is getting good
First, the game-play is now amazing. Now, my spoiled brat request is as follows:

Can you underline player names in the main menu when they have profiles, etc? Make it more 'personal'? I instinctively went to click on player handle to learn more about player but i couldn't do that, maybe show rating and recent history of activity as a little red/blue circle beside their name --very red very active to very blue/icy not active? orrrr....red or blued depending on how well they are playing! ---idea from tsn.ca site and rsk management site....'malkin is hot--19 points in last 9 games' or 'encana inc is UP--rating upgraded 2 to BBB '

anyhow, just a thought. kudos on the game-play, i like it.

This is a good suggestion. We are still working on the member profile area so now is the time to offer any ideas on what it should include and how it should look. Obviously, things like the number of games played should be included, and some kind of trending data would be great too.

Is this the equivalent of the 'member info page' of the old site? I presume the plan includes the ability to post games from my scorebook on my profile as we could with the old MIPs. I've just remembered you mentioning a plan to implement scorebook migration. Where are you at with this? It would be especially useful with this feature of the new member profiles.

Re: Suggestion, as now the site is getting good
I expect the new site member profile to be focused more on statistics rather than the free-form capabilities of the old MIPs. But we'll see. I expect any one member to be able to look up all games of any other member. However I'm sure you will be able to showcase select games in your own profile.

No time frame on Scorebook updates just yet. I'm working on an updated new Caissa roadmap which should be posted soon.

So, on good old Caissa.com - all my live-games fiascos do disappear after 24 hours, which I appreciate.
But on the new reformed Caissa - they will be there to haunt me forever then...

It doesn't encourage me to play with a member-handle precisely, I would say.

That's one way to look at it. But of course all your live game brilliancies will be available also, for purposes of intimidating your opponents!

Re: Suggestion To Make the Site Better for Corr Games
Perhaps there is some way you could consider providing a way
for games to be separated -- EXAMPLE - I now have over 30 Corr
Games going of which 20 of them are the New Member Organized
Nimzo-Indian Defence Tournament.

It would be great to have a separate column or a way to divide
these games from the rest of my games.

What do you think - is this something that has
been considered and in the works??

Thanks,

I would like to have a way to separate chess960 games from standard games.

This is already possible. Below your game list is a "Filter" area. For the "Game Type" choose "Chess960". Press the "Filter" button. The list will show only Chess960 games.

There is currently a way to separate the Caissa tournaments in the Active Games list. Using the "Filter" feature located below the list of active games, you can show a sub-set of your list based on specific criteria, one of those being tournament games. Unfortunately Member Organized Tournaments are not currently labeled as tournaments, they are just regular challenges. So they would not currently work with the Filter system.

For future MOTs, we can manually label the games as tournaments and that way you can use the Filter to separate them out. Just give me a heads up before any future MOT is started and we will set it up.
