please correct the problem where every time I try to start a live game with "coffeebean" on the old site the game crashes with the below java error. i have to log off and back on to be able to play any more games.

this seeems to happen with a different particular member every week or so. can't a permanant fix be found?

We should be able to correct the problem with this specific opponent. We are not sure what causes this problem. You are the only member who reports this problem, however we do not know if this is something specific to your configuration, or it is a general problem and you are the only member who reports it. :)

Thanks AdminBrian. My games with "coffeebean" now play fine. Just out of curiosity, what is happening in the Java that causes this? How can you "fix" it each time it happens with a different member if the error is on my pc? Is this an error on your side or mine? Maybe the specifics of what you do to correct it can be used to track down the cause. I would be happy to assist in any tests.
 

We are not sure what causes this problem. For some reason when you end a game with certain opponents, the game does not get completely deleted and Caissa thinks you are still playing a game against that person. We just manually clear out the game. For now if the problem occurs you can just let us know and we will clear it out. Once we complete further development on the new Caissa we may return to Caissa Classic to investigate the problem further.
