But it still could've been fixed short of rewriting Caissa from scratch. There were also some ideas that I had for the old site which I didn't get round to suggesting, such as optional JavaScript enhancements to the HTML game interface, which would have potentially tripled the speed of the game interface for those unable (or unwilling) to use the Java one. |

Is it really a major technical problem to have this fixed ? If you disconnect more than once in one game you have to deal with it in such a way that your rating will change. Fair? I think so ! |

You don't gain anything and your opponent who disconnected on purpose couple of times didn't lose anything. It seems to me that it is only worhwhile to wait if your opponent is not using Mars interface. If both of you are using mars interface forget it! |
