Nc3 e6 6. Be3 Bb4 7. Bd3 d5 8. Nxc6 bxc6 9. e5 Nd7 2) 6. Nxc6 bxc6 7. e5 Nd5 . this looks like a sicilian 4 knights, rather than a sveshnikov (sveshnikov is with e5 played, rather than e6). The sicilian 4 knights is an interesting variation as well. Usually black plays Ndb5 instead of Nxc3. I had a game in this line at the national open recently. It was a very tough game in which I was lucky to get a draw (I was white). Maybe your Nxc3 idea is good, although I dont think it is the usual approach. |
