Garry's book
Right now, I am reading this book of Garry Kasparov "how life imitates chess" and I have to say he is a good writer. No wonder he has been the king of chess for 20 years. I strongly recommend this book.

Re: Garry's book
As the late {great?} Sigmund Freud, might've said; 'Not only does 'chess imitate life,' but when the pawn promotes on the 8th rank, it's analogous to the culmination of the sex act, itself!'

Ps. Not sure why I'm promoting this glorified 'perv'{?!}.. Oh, well.

Re: Garry's book
i read it when it first came out. i loved it. a lot of references to his match with karpov. best idea for me is when you have no clear advantage just consolidate your position.

"How Life imitates Chess" / "Cómo la Vida imita al Ajedrez"

I've got the Spanish version of Kasparov's last book, published by Random House Mondadori, DEBATE edition.

I agree with your appreciation. It is a very instructive book as an essay on the topic.
