I sit here today humbled by the task before me, grateful for the trust you have bestowed, mindful of the sacrifices borne by my fellow members. I thank AB for his service to the task, as well as the generosity and cooperation he has shown throughout this transition.
 
 
 
So it has been. So it must be with this generation of caissians.
 
That we are in the midst of crisis is now well understood. Our G2's are at war, against a far-reaching network of disconnects and lag. Games have been lost; pieces shed; plans shattered. Our health suffers.
 
These are the indicators of crisis, subject to data and statistics. Less measurable but no less profound is a sapping of confidence across our land - a nagging fear that caissa's decline is inevitable, and that the next generation must lower its sights.
 
Today I say to you that the challenges we face are real. They are serious and they are many. They will not be met easily or in a short span of time. But know this, caissians - they will be met.
 
On this day, we gather because we have chosen hope over fear, unity of purpose over conflict and discord.
 
On this day, we come to proclaim an end to the petty grievances and false promises, the recriminations and worn out dogmas, that for far too long have strangled our MOT's.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
For everywhere I look, there is work to be done. The state of the BB calls for action, bold and swift, and I will act - not only to create new posts, but to filter the old growth.

Now, there are some who question the scale of my ambitions - who suggest that our system cannot tolerate too many big plans. Their membership will be shortened.
 
What the cynics fail to understand is my determination - to spend wisely, reform bad habits, and do our business in the light of day - because only then can we restore the vital trust between a people and their Admin
 
 
 
 
 
I am the keeper of this legacy. Guided by these principles once more, we can meet those new threats that demand even greater fees.

So the rumour is true. There is a second verse to God save the Queen. When they sang "on her be pleased to pour", I must admit I was expecting someone to leap on to the stage and tip something over the Queen. Thankfully that did not happen. And now for something completely different; the biggest thing to happen to Scotland since the bagpipe,occurs later today when Andy Murray plays Federer in the tennis.Should be great game.
