I am currently a Blackerry Pearl user and I would like to
know if the new mobile chess feature will work with this
device?
 
Also can you tell me how soon this feature will become
availiable.

We are currently planning mobile access to both live and corr games with the Apple iPhone. However, depending on the demand, we may make a generic mobile interface with which you would be able to play corr games only on other phones. If your smartphone browser adheres to basic web standards, then you should be able to make moves in your corr games.
 
We will probably have more detailed information around the first of the year.

I recently bought the Caissa application for my Apple Itouch. The Itouch is almost identical to the Apple Iphone (its uses the same os and has wifi). My question is will I be able to play live games on my Itouch with this upcoming mobile chess update?

By the way, I just want to say I love the Caissa application. Its a beautiful thing, and very challenging. Thanks for updating it!

Brian, any updates on mobile chess for iphone or bberry?

We are working on the iPhone app now. Should have an alpha version in a couple of weeks. It will be Live Chess only to start.
 
We may need members to help test so if you or any member with an iPhone or iPod Touch want to volunteer, let me know.
 
No plans at this time for a BlackBerry app.
