Reply | 18 Jun 2008, 23:05:40   Internet email for Caissa subscribed members As you may already know, subscribed members can have anyone on the Internet send email to "yourhandle@caissa.com" and you will receive that in the Inbox area of your Caissa Message Center. By default, Internet email functionality is turned off for newly subscribed members. Previously, you could go to the Message Center configuration and turn it on yourself. However, due to unprecedented levels of junk email on the Internet, we have changed the procedure for activating Internet email for Caissa members. If you would like to receive Internet email in your Caissa Message Center, send a message to me (AdminBrian) using the Caissa Message Center requesting that Internet email be activated for your account. I will manually activate it for you. Note that internal Caissa messages, i.e. messages sent using the Caissa Message Center to another Caissa member by typing in their Caissa handle, are not affected by this new procedure. Thanks! |
