We have completed the "Create a (Chess) Board" feature in the Bulletin Boards. To use it, choose the "Insert game" option and then choose "Create Game/Position".
 
This feature not only allows you to insert a chess board position in your post, you can also create a series of moves and optionally commentary as part of your post. The procedure goes something like this:
 
Step 1: Create board position.
Step 2: Add moves and commentary.
Step 3: Add game details (players, event etc).
Step 4: Review and post.

Nice feature, but is there a way to make the board editable so you or somebody else could go in and make a move and save it?
 
Looking for some BB Leapfrog options...

This is already possible. But you have to do it manually by editing the embedded PGN file. May sound intimidating but I think you will find it faster and easier once you figure it out. However we are working on the ability to edit a game post using the graphical interface. Anyway here is a quick video:

I put up a practice board on the misc bb. Everything was working fine until it came time to castle. It didn't make the move on the board and didn't list the move in the move list. It did add the comment though.

I did not have any problems getting it to castle either using the graphical editor or manually editing the PGN. Remember that the notation for castling is O-O or O-O-O, that being an upper case letter "O".
 
 

I tried upper case O (O-O),lower case O(0-0), zero(0-0) and none of them worked. It's working now though.
 
Got to love modern technology.
