Here is an update on the corr forfeits issue that several members have reported.
 
In the games that we have monitored and that have forfeited, the forfeit was applied correctly. Either the time control of the game expired, or the single move time limit elapsed. Additionally, in the hundreds of games that we have played ourselves we have not experienced any problems. This does not mean that the problem does not exist, but we will have to continue to monitor and try to find an occurrence of the problem. If you continue to expereince this problem, please let us know of any observations or clues you might notice.
 
One potential problem we did observe with forfeited games is that the time control that is shown for a forfeited game is misleading. For example if a game is about to forfeit in a few hours, the time control will show something like "2 moves in 0 days". Once the game forfeits, the time control will reset to show "2 moves in 10 days". This refers to the fact that the forfeited game will be deleted after 10 days. But obviously this may give the impression that there is still time left in the game even though it is actually forfeited.
 
We will be updating this part of the corr game time control so that the labeling makes it absolutely clear that the game is forfeited. This should be available in the next couple of days.
