Reply | 13 Jul 2007, 02:48:55   New Caissa and Internet Explorer 6 Compatibility Caissa members using the Internet Explorer 6.x browser should now be able to use the new Caissa website at www.caissa.com. At the request of our members, we have made changes to the website which should allow backward compatibility with the IE6 browser for Windows. Some things to keep in mind: -Although you should be able to successfully play live and corr games using IE6, you may encounter some cosmetic/formatting problems with the page layout. -You MUST have the most up-to-date version of Java installed (www.java.com). -Although we have successfully tested the new updates using several versions of IE6 (including Windows ME/98), we unfortunately cannot guarantee the site will work with all configurations. If you continue to have problems, we recommend updating to the most up-to-date version of your chosen browser. You may also try downloading and installing an alternate browser such as Firefox (www.getfirefox.com). Edited on 13 Jul 2007 at 02:49:07 |

What a great place it was to play chess and interact in a community. After years of neglect and apathy from MediaWest, admin at large seem to be genuinely surprised that the membership at large have not embraced the new site and renewed administrator involvement. I have been here since early 1997 and when my time is up in mid August I will not renew. I will miss the small remaining cast of old timers.
